VEGGIE BURGERS
2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 cup minced onions
1 1/2 cup diced green peppers
1 1/2 cup chopped fresh tomatoes
1/4 cups chopped stuffed olives
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
8 toasted hamburger buns
Soft margarine
8 sandwich-sized zip-lock bags
1 gallon-sized zip-lock bag
Thoroughly mix ground beef, onions, green peppers,
tomatoes, olives, cheese, salt, and egg. Shape into
8 patties and seal each in a sandwich zip-lock bag.
Seal all into gallon zip-lock and put in cooler for 1
hour. Grease hot grill. Add patties and brown on
each side. Turn heat to low and cook for 10 minutes
on a side. Serve on hot buttered toasted buns. Use
A-1 for topping instead of ketchup.
